GSLV-D-3 FAILURE IS NOT A DISAPPOINTMENT
The country was waiting with bated breath the launching of GSLV-D-3 satellite yesterday.. The early few seconds’ indications were that of a successful launch. Even some of the participating scientists and engineers were found clapping. But unfortunately the satellite deviated from its intended path to the disappointment of all concerned. The euphoria was short lived. But the partial failure of the indigenous cryogenic engine should not disappoint us .We should not be deterred in any manner. Even the most advanced countries with vast resources at their command have failed several times before mastering the complex and secret cryogenic engine technology. Our scientists have earlier proved their capability in Chandrayan Mission as well as in assembling nuclear weapons. It is only a matter of time that we will master the cryogenic engine technology and succeed in the satellite launch. Failures are the pillars of success. The whole country is with you, dear scientists, don’t be disappointed. Surely we will see success next time.
