IS MOTHER EARTH ANGRY AGAINST THE HUMANITY?
In India we respect the earth as our mother. Every day we pray and respect her before stepping on her. That is the exalted position we have given her. But this not so in the western world. They treat the earth as source of natural resources. They drill deep into her body to extract oil and gas. They burrow into her to extract coal, iron ore and many other resources. They conduct underground nuclear tests. They as well as some of our own people are hurting our mother earth left, right and centre. The mother earth seems to be unhappy and angry. Probably she is expressing her anger and displeasure by way of earth quakes and volcanoes. The recent volcano eruption of Iceland is a clear warning to us. The entire aviation industry and those dependants on it came to a grinding halt. Will we at least now learn a lesson not to ill-treat our mother earth?
